I had the era and love levana I just got this one and love all the features I love the big monitor and the cameras u can move so u can see u baby all the time!

We bought this video monitor system for our townhouse in February this year. Love the big screen, ease of setting up and use, image vibrancy, noise sensitivity, and night vision. It's great to be able to have a camera on each floor. Customer service over chat is good too if you have any questions.
Just wish I could get two parent units too! The battery life is not the longest, so we just leave our parent unit on the adapter round the clock. Also, sometimes the I find the audio chopping a little bit, but it's nothing I can't handle. Note the camera does make a small noise when tilting or panning that could wake the baby up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not just for babies and so worth it!

I bought this for my home, to watch our 6 yr old and his therapists that are in our home 40 hours a week. A bonus is now we can keep an eye on our 2 yr old as well. Plus I am expecting so this will be a HUGE bonus when the baby comes in 3 weeks. We not only love the cameras, but we LOVE the features also. Our son was diagnosed with Autism and needs intensive therapy 40 hours a week to help him to one day live on his own. This monitor helps us to interact with him and therapists if needed, but without entering the room and physically distracting him, which in our home is a big 'no no'. It has been actually life changing because of the way we are able to monitor, we are no longer in the way and he is able to focus on the task. We also are able to monitor his therapists so there is consistency in our home. If we have any problems, the lead therapist can ask us to record a session and watch a video of the therapist we might have an issue with using the cameras capability to record. This is awesome! Other reviews talk about the battery life. We have not had this problem at all and we use our monitor for roughly 6-8 hours a day. We bought an extra camera and have one in 3 of our rooms in our home. This was all we needed because of the flexibility of the camera to look around, we could see 2 rooms from one camera if put in the correct place. We were able to do this with 2 of the 3 cameras. So we actually see in 2 other rooms without cameras. Needless to say, my husband and I LOVE the camera and its great features, which was the reason we chose this camera. It is well worth it.

I bought this monitor about month ago and the husband and I just love how easy it is to use.The quality is like no other one that I did research on. I would recommend this monitor to anyone that is a first time parent like myself.

Purchased 2 weeks ago and so happy we did. Our baby boy is 4 months and just starting to sleep in his own room. The monitor has given me piece of mind and some much needed sleep. The picture & sound quality are great. The battery life is good as long as I shut it off between naps. At night its plugged in to charge. The chargers are labeled so you know which one goes to the camera and to the monitor. That's a minor detail I like. To me this means the manufacturer put in some thought to many other details as well. Have used the camera function and works like a charm. No video yet. Very happy with my purchase!

BIG Screen!

The 4.3" screen is really easy to look at and the colors during the day are very realistic. It switches to night vision automatically when it gets dark enough. We have a two story house and the range seems to be no problem for this system. The camera is really whisper quiet to turn around the room and easy to manipulate. If you play the songs for the baby you will hear them as well, since the monitor picks up the sound from the nursery. We've had it for a short period of time so will see if it holds up. For now we are happy with it. The instructions that come with it are very sparse, but hubby was able to figure it out anyway without needing to go online to the full manual.

Best Monitor for the Money

We've had the opportunity to use three different monitors over the first 5 months of our boy's life, and this is by far the best monitor for the money. We first had a more expensive Samsung monitor that we actually loved, but we awoke one night to faint sounds of our son crying down the hall. The monitor was on, video was working and the audio indicator lights were working, but no sound was coming out! It worked again by turning it off and back on, but having the audio randomly go out in unacceptable for the purpose of the device, so back it went.
While we were waiting for the Ovia to ship, we bought a much cheaper Summer Infant monitor which worked great, but it was lacking many features the Samsung and the Ovia have.
Now, to the Ovia. It's a very "cool" looking monitor, although a little larger than the other two we owned. As for the functionality, the image quality is much better than the Samsung and Summer Infant. Sound quality is great as well, and there is noticeably less white noise compared to the other two. It also has some very cool features such as “PEEP mode”, where the screen will turn off after a minute of no sound in the baby’s room. The menu is also very intuitive; it didn’t take long to figure out all the features and options.
Overall, you can’t go wrong with this monitor! It is a little large compared to the other two, but so far it works flawlessly, which is what you would expect from a video monitor.
