I bought the monitor two weeks ago and absolutely love it. The picture clarity is amazing and the night vision gives me peace of mind at night. The cameras tilt feature is ultra quiet and doesn't disturb the baby. Would definitely recommend!

Great battery life

We bought this monitor a few days ago after we have owned a motorola one for 1 year. We are very unhappy with the motorola quality but mainly the battery life. Thats why we choose to go with this model. We love the battery life of this monitor. The picture quality is less than the motorola but still good enough to see what your baby is doing. sound quality is excellent. we can't really use the peep mode since we use a sound machine but its not really important for us.So far we really like it.

I bought this a couple of months ago. I'm expecting our first baby in March. I couldn't wait to play with it. So far I love this. I love that u can pan & tilt in the room and you can talk to baby in the room as well. The picture quality appears to be really good too. My only complaint so far is the zoom only has two settings (zoom out and zoom in). You can't chose how much or little you want to zoom. But that isn't a big deal. Great product!!

I've only had this a few days, but so far am very pleased with it. I love how it has the tilt/pan feature. Unlike another model I've had before, it does not have a clock on it which is kind of disappointing, but overall not a big deal. It is simple to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just been using this for a couple days now but this is my second levana monitor purchase and I love this one! The pan/zoom/tilt is fantastic to keep an eye on my roaming toddler and the picture quality is the best I've seen in my history of use (I purchased many monitors before buying levana!)

I just bought this camera and I love it! Perfect image and the screen is nice and big. I loved how you can plug it in and charge the battery, and also how I can talk through the camera and he can hear me. :)

I bought this camera about 3 weeks ago now. I had been debating with my husband over getting a video monitor (I was against it). We had audio only for our first two kids, and this was our third and final on the way, so I didn't think it was necessary. Then it started looking like our baby girl was going to come very early, and I was convinced that video might be the way to go. We ended up ordering the Astra 2 video set.
To start off, I have to say that the customer service I received from Levana was hands down the best I have every received purchasing anything. There was a slight hiccup with the online pricing, and they fixed it while I was on the phone with them, then followed up later. Just awesome.
As soon as we received the camera (only 3 days later with the basic shipping), my husband was setting one of them up in our 4.5 year old sons room just to play around with it. I can't believe I was ever without this, and that we almost didn't get it.
The night vision is fantastic, significantly better than I expected. My son doesn't notice the light at all with it either. He also can't hear when we move the camera around to follow what he's doing. Hilariously enough, he really likes the lullaby's that you can turn on, and the one night we tested them out was the only night he went straight to sleep.
The sound quality is good. I sometimes think that it's a little hard to hear him, but the camera is also a bit far away from his bed, so that may be why. Being able to talk through the camera is also a great feature that I didn't think we would use at all, and find ourselves using constantly.
I can see this system bringing me a lot more peace of mind than I expected when our newest baby arrives any day now, and I'm so glad that I relented and agreed to order it. I've got my cousin coming over on Sunday to check it out as she's due in a few months and I've been raving to her non stop about it.

Disappointed using it with 2 cameras

When my old audio monitor broke, I bought the 2 camera Astra at Costco on sale so it was a good deal compared to other 2 camera monitors on the market. I have had this monitor now for about 6 months and have been using it with 2 cameras for about 3 months.
It works great with one camera. Nice picture from about 4-5 ft away, as long as it's set up correctly. Sound is good. Peep mode works well with the one camera. It seems to be very sensitive to sound (it turns on when the snowplow drives by). I also like that I can talk to my baby or toddler over the monitor. The range seems pretty good with the antenna up but I'm not sure if it gets the 200-750ft range consistently. I like the pan/tilt function since my toddler moves around a lot, but it is quiet not silent. Battery life is great so far.
I am disappointed that with 2 cameras (2 kids in different rooms) you cannot use Peep mode with both cameras. You have to choose which camera you want on Peep and have to manually change to the other camera. This is fine during the day but at night when I am sleeping I want to be able to hear both kids if they wake up and need me. I can put the monitor on the continuous shuffle mode between both rooms but then the screen is on, and really bright, all night.
The other things I do not like about the monitor are that the LED ring is very bright and flashes all night. The lullabies are a good idea but they repeat only a portion of the tune, not the whole thing. I also wish it had a belt clip if outside. We tried to set up one camera across the room (about 8-9 feet away) and did not get a good night vision picture, even though it says you can go as far as 12ft in "ideal conditions" (not sure what those are).
I have used the chat support a couple times and they have been very helpful. When I had an issue with one of the cameras and troubleshooting didn't fix the problem Levana replaced the camera quickly under warranty.
Overall this monitor has some great features and it does the job but I mostly wish that Peep mode worked with both cameras at the same time. If I ever need a new monitor (which I hope I don't), I would get this one again if they were to upgrade it to include the dual Peep mode. I would recommend this if you only need one camera or don't care that you have to manually switch between cameras.
