EXCELLENT WAY TO CHECK A SLEEPING BABY!

I purchased this monitor for two reasons 1. I had a poorly functioning audio-only monitor 2. my child became increasingly mobile in the crib (we found him curled up in a ball in the corner) Although the signal doesn't reach throughout the house, it works for the areas we need the monitor the most (bedroom, living room). We are able to tell if he needs repositioning or if he is crying because he woke up, or crying in his sleep. The camera pans the entire room which will be helpful in the future.

I just purchased the Levana Astra after my Tommee Tippee monitor stopped working after 15 months and the quality of this monitor is amazing! It was super easy to set up and I had all the icons memorized after 2 minutes. The pan option was not a feature of my previous monitor and its super easy to use and works amazingly! Love this monitor so far!!!

Great picture and features

I bought the monitor about a month ago and am very happy with it. Although I have not used it a lot, so far I am very pleased with it's performance. The tilt and zoom are my favorite features and the picture quality is great, There is a slight delay on the camera but am still really happy with everything. I would recommend this to a lot of new parents for piece of mind:)

Great range, video and night vision

I bought this monitor a month ago and still waiting on baby but have tested it extensively so far. The range is amazing and video quality is great as well! Can't believe how well you can see in the night vision. Only suggestion for improvement is the sound of the talk back to baby feature - very poor sound quality as it makes parent's voice sound like a robot. The sound of listening to baby is good though!

LOVE This Monitor!!!

We've been using this monitor for several months and absolutely love it! Wish we had it sooner for our 2.5 year old twins. Using the camera panning feature has been a great tool for us to see whether they're staying in their beds at naptime etc. - we even got a 2nd camera for the playroom!
One of the best features is the battery life on the handheld monitor. It lasts all day (in video mode) before needing to be charged and the range is very good.
It's very user friendly, has great audio, our kids love the lullabyes and we love the two-way communication!
There are however a couple features we wish this video monitor had:
- the ability to see all cameras on one split screen. You can scan through the cameras, but you can't see them all at once.
- a crisper video image. Daytime images are fine, but night vision is a little fuzzy.
- the ability to record video using an micro SD card. We have seen other monitors in this price range with this feature and wish we could record the twins' antics and conversations from time to time!
- the ability to actually zoom in on the image. The zoom on this camera is actually just a digital zoom and isn't very clear so virtually useless.
- It would also be good if when in audio mode (video turned off) that any loud sounds would automatically turn the video image on. You can see the indicator light up, but that's it.
