I got this as a gift and I'm so happy with it. I love being able to adjust the camera remotely as well as being able to talk to my baby with going into his room.

Quality and performance of unit is excellent! Pretty easy to understand and operate. The three "lullabies" that can be played are actually better than a lot of separately sold sound/sleep machines. Video is clear in all light/dark conditions. The only minor complaint was very sparse "quick start" manual.......The downloadable manual on the website covers all the little details that lend towards a better quality installation and understanding of unit operation......except the manual exists under the "software" titled icon for download instead of calling it something more accurate like "manual"! But other than that I would recommend this system highly.

Not impressed at all.

So not impressed with my Levana monitor. Had to send the original one back because it had a weird humming noise. They replaced it no problem but the new one is not any better if not worse. Still has the humming and getting louder day by day, the night vision is blurry and it has a blue light that stays on all time and blinks on and off ALL night long even on sleep mode ( original did not do this at all). NOW the picture has a jumping look to it. So unimpressed, I should go just kept the original and dealt with the sound.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have a baby boy on the way, he'll be here by next month and we had everything ready on his bedroom except the baby monitor. I chose this Levana Astra 3.5" since it was within my budget and its a great product. It's really a life saver and helps keep your baby safe. Great features like the sound lullabies and peep mode. I would definitely recommend this product!

I got the monitor as a shower present and it has worked great so far. The screen is a good size and is very easy to use. I do find that the sound doesn't come through on mine from time to time though.
