This monitor is lovely. If I were to make a new one I would change 2 things. Range of motion on the camera to a lower position. Our camera is on the dresser and the baby in his crib, but if the baby moves around a bit then then the camera can not see him.
Second, I would make the antenna more durable. Because the monitor is able to be carried from one room or another, it should be built tough. We had our monitor 2 weeks when it fell off the counter and the antenna snapped.

Excellent quality especially during the daytime (colour) and the noise activation function is a good battery saver. The closer the product is to the baby the better as the night vision and colour responds better close up.

I just set up the astra with two cameras. I like the big screen and love the pan and tilt features since I have a little one who likes to get out of his bed. I'm not sure how useful the zoom will be since the picture quality becomes somewhat distorted/grainy. The button placement is user friendly, as is the main menu, but I noticed that my fingers slip a little on the main navigation buttons. I like the talk to baby feature to comfort them without going in their rooms. The sound quality is just ok. The peep mode for me is pretty useless, but the idea of it is great. I use sound machines in both rooms so the noise of that alone (on all peep mode settings) triggers the screen to turn on. So, I'll probably drain the battery pretty fast since I can't get the screen to stay off. Overall, it's much more useful than my last video monitor, but could use some improvements in my opinion.

Works great, we have a larger house, no issues with reception. Product has some issues with discoloration of our crib - it looks purple, not brown, but I think it is the finish of the crib since we returned the first one we got and the second one has the same exact issues-- and everything else in the room looks normal.

After struggling with a competitor's monitor for way too long, we finally made the switch to the Levana. What a difference ! The signal is strong where ever we go and the screen size is very large. So easy to set up too! Our old monitor has no range and would make terrible clicking noises. Not the case with this one! It is also worth mentioning that the price is very comparable to the competitor's models, yet the quality of the Levana surpasses others every time.

We were looking to purchase a video camera before the birth of our second child. After reading reviews on this monitor, we decided to go with it and have been very pleased overall. We have a 3 month old and a 2 year old, and purchased the second camera to go with the monitor. We are very happy with the range of the monitor (we can easily bring it outdoors with us), the picture quality and clarity, clarity in the sound, and how quiet it is while the camera is moving (the children don't even notice it when they aren't asleep). There is a little bit of a humming sound when on, but we leave it in the PEEP mode, so that is rarely an issue, and the only negative comment we would be able to find on the monitor.
