Stove is good quality. However my wife is disappointed that this model does not have an oven light switch to manually turn on to view while baking. Oven door must be opened for it to work.

Less than 6-month ownership...attempted to self clean once and filled up house with smoke. Yuck!

I really love this stove. I tend to like GE appliances in general, so I may be biased here but this is great stove. The only things I would change if I could would be to have the extra large burner in the back because it burns too hot for normal cooking, I've yet to use it past #2. I'm also having an issue with the oven light, it's turned off few times when the oven gets too hot, but I will replace the bulb and see what happens. Love that the grates are across the entire stove and I'm looking forward to getting the griddle for the center burner. The oven cooks evenly, and the cook time feature is a bonus- the oven turns off for you. The stainless cleans up quickly and doesn't leave streaks, the base for the burners is non-stick so anything spilled just comes right off. I'm definitely happy with this stove.

BTU output

The primary feature that sold this product to me was the heat output promised from the power burner and the 11,000 BTU burner. That output is not actually available because of the burner design and the fact that we use LP gas [required conversion kit installation]. There was no information in the ads that the promised BTU would be reduced when using LP gas. Further decreasing heat output is the excessive height of the burner grates and excessive size of the burner covers. In all other respects we do love the stove
