Versatile work top with five burners and full grids. Easy to keep range top clean. Oven consistently cooks. New slate finish is easy to maintain and gives a high-end feel.

I've only had this for a couple of days, but right from the start I am impressed. All the controls are intuitively positioned and smooth operating. I love the different choices of burners, to fit each pot or pan. The window in the oven is huge!

With a 14 month old in the house, I'm thrilled that this oven can be set to 425 degrees and the oven door does not get hot. The oven preheats VERY quickly. The burners have a large range of temperature. One of the main reasons I bought this model was for the middle burner, I had hoped it would be able to be used for my griddle, but sadly the middle burner doesn't quite burn hot enough for griddle food (hash browns, eggs etc.) I do love the continuous grate, and visually this range is very nice.

Meets Expectations

Purchasing new kitchen appliances was a decision based on two dimensions: having 15-year old equipment; a limited budget. I performed my due diligence researching the options, reading reviews and heading to the store. Perhaps my expectations were too high for this price point. Overall I am pleased with the stove, microwave and refrigerator upgrades but definitely not anywhere near my initial excitement and confidence I had during the decision process. Built in 1849, the farmhouse kitchen with pine flooring, slate blue cabinets and black soapstone counters and tin ceiling, the slate color appliance compliment very well. They replace black units and the kitchen feels warmer and brighter. Fit and finish needs improvement. For example the microwave door is about 1/8” out of alignment with the control panel so the lines do not flow well. The refrigerator doors has a light plastic feel, not like the old GE being replaced – kind of like closing a door on an economy car verses a luxury car. Same tactile feel with the oven – not as solid. When the refrigerator motor shuts off there is often a very load, abrupt rumbling. All function well and meet the family’s needs.

I bought this yesterday. Installation was simple and straight forward. Cooking a chicken dinner right now in the oven. Quick preheat capability. Lots of nice extras that are easy to use. Fifth center oval burner is awesome. Pretty happy right now.
