I want to like my new refrigerator, but I am so unimpressed with the quality of the plastic used for the fruit, veggie and deli drawers and the shelving. Very cheap quality for an expensive appliance.

We bought 5 Kitchen Aid appliances when we renovated our kitchen last year. They are good value. We prefer the freezer on the bottom on this model as everything is more accessible. Would prefer larger vegetable crispers

I like the simple design. not noisy, looks nice... Kitchenaid could have designed the 3 drawers to slide a little better. seems kind of flimsy.
Pros: Design
Cons: deli meat tray doesnt slide well, crisper drawers dont slide very well

I bought this refrigerator a month ago and I wish I had read the reviews prior. The drawers are just like everyone else has said, horrible. I'm afraid they are going to fall out each time I use them. Even though it is brand new I'm tempted to sell it on Craigslist and buy a new one, that's how annoying the drawers are!! Also agree that the light on top could have a lower profile to allow for more storage.
