I wanted a nice looking, well-made, simple refrigerator with lots of space. The freezer had to be on the bottom--after all, which do you use more, the fridge or the freezer? It is very roomy with adjustable split shelves; one even glides out. I can adjust the shelves to accommodate short and tall containers, as needed. There is also a lot of usuable door space with washable removable cushion liners in each of the adjustable door compartments. The front of my refrigerator is stainless steel. Many manufacturers make stainless fronts with BLACK sides--yes, black. The KitchenAid came with grey sides so it blends beautifully with my cabinets and other appliances. It's quiet. And I am thrilled to have an icemaker. The ice comes out very clear and pure-looking.

Our first time with bottom freezer. Can't move divider in back would like to. Also would like mats in freeze like these in door. By the wAy having mats in door compartment are great. Overall love my new refrigerator.

This refrigerator needs service twice a year for the same over-heating problem. I'm getting to the point where I need to decided whether to keep repairing it or just throw it out and spend the money on a new one.

This is a beautiful refrigerator that can be seen from my great room/ dining room. It's handsome, without the clutter of an on-the-door water/ ice. The refrigerator room is spacious, easy to clean and easy to organize. The ultimate test is Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner leftovers----passed with flying colors. The shelves on the door hold a surprising amount of goods. I'm still learning to organize the freezer section, but I like this layout much more that a side-by-side.
