Gets you into the bottom freezer french door for less money

Look, this is not the top of the line, but it gives you the ease of a bottom freezer andthe room of a French door model. It is not quiet. The top ice maker sounds like ghost in the house. The ice dispenser is very noisy because it has to drop ice sofar down the door. Sometimes it grinds ice when set on cube. The good points are that it gets you into the style for a good price. The ease of finding something in the bottom freezer is so much better that perusing the freezer menu of the old side by side. The slide out shelves are pretty handy when looking for small items. Other models have such features as in-door ice makers, LED lights, solid shelf in freezer, and quietness that this one does not. So, if that type of stuff is important to you, this is not the unit that you want.

ROOMY BOTTOM FREEZER

I am very disappointed with the icemaker feature on my new refrigerator. The storage is very small and it make very small cubes. Other than that I am very happy with the product. We had a problem with the icemaker jamming up and quitting altogether, but a single call to customer service had a repairman to replace the entire unit within two days. We were very pleased with the repair service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ice maker is plugging alot on the cube setting.

Bought the frig/freezer month ago. Wife and I love it. I'm very unhappy with the ice maker. It plugs most of the time when you are trying to get ice cubes out. Works ok when using the crushed ice setting. Is there anything that can be done?

After 41 years with my previous refrigerator/freezer, I thought that I could never get used to another refrigerator/ freezer. It was trouble free for all those years. It played out on me about five weeks ago so I went to H.H. Gregg om Southaven, MS. I purchased this Whirlpool Gold refrigerator/freezer and have been more than pleased. I love it!

The new refrigerator looks great in our 100 year old plus Victorian farm house. The stainless steel shell is sleek and with the softened lines blends into any kitchen.It is nice to have the storage space and be able to see what is inside, and have everything within our reach. We no longer have the mystery food or spoilage issues that have occurred in the past.The in-the-door ice maker and cold water dispenser are great features, and makes it easy to keep hydrated, and eliminates the constant refilling of ice trays.We like the bottom mounted freezer, and the pull out tray/rack. This keeps our frozen foods more accessible, and eliminates dropping heavy frozen items on your feet.

Love my new fridge

We bought a new fridge a few weeks ago, and I love it. One of my biggest concerns was the size of the freezer. It's a 26 cubic stainless fridge and the freezer is great, and I really appreciate the sliding shelf. There is so much more room than a lot of the other brands . Plus it was made in Americe!!!
