LOVE it!

I love, LOVE my Whirlpool refrigerator. My old fridge didn't have the french doors or the bottom freezer and I hated it. I couldn't fit anything in it! This is no longer an issue. This fridge and freezer can fit everything. The water/ice on the door is a great feature. Overall, I have no complaints!

I couldn't be more happy with my fridge. I love the French doors! I can see everything without have my to move stuff around which means food isn't going bad because it's forgotten. I just like be everything about this refrigerator.

Poor ice maker design

The ice maker in this refergerator is the poorest design we have ever had. We are always out ice,we had to lower the the temperture to 5 degrees below zero to try to compensate for the ice shortage some energy savings,and when we do get ice, the machine in cube setting, the cubes are cut smaller when coming out, during that process of cutting the cubes are shredded, ice misses the glass, even when up tight to the shoot, so the smaller cubes don't last as long, which makes us run out of ice faster, wheres the engery saving, we have 5 five different Whirlpool appanices, Please send us a voucher for 2 two thouaand dollors so we can buy a new Kitchen Aid rerergator which we understand Whirlpool owns, with the water and ice inside the refergator we gladely donate this one to charty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I especially love the design of the inside storage spaces, it's convenient layout, and ample space in each section. I like the feature that all the shelves and storage drawers are easily removable for cleaing. It is quiet, ice maker works perfectly, we love it!!

Love the alarm when I don't get the door closed all the way

This fridge is awesome and has tons of space. The alarm is wonderful since my kids are in there a lot and don't always get the door closed. There is a drawer in the bottom of the fridge portion that goes the width of the appliance which is great for storing larger items. The only problem we have had is the handle on the freezer comes off easily.

I rarely give any product/appliance an EXCELLENT rating, but this Whirlpool Gold has earned it. I have commented to my husband that if we move this refrig goes with us and if that is impossible we will buy a new one just like it for our new home. It is a keeper!
