Not Sure how long this will last

Recently bought this frig and I don't like the way it closes. It sometimes can stay open without you knowing due to the door construction. It doesn't seem to seal very well. The temperature of the food is great though and I feel it is good at keeping fruit and vegetables crisp and they last. Unfortunately the refrigerator does not tell you the interior temperature. The interior is a little awkward on the upper left side (shelves) and a few odd shaped small items fit there. The bins are not made out of really sturdy plastic so I'm not sure how long they are going to last without eventually breaking. The ice maker and water filter system are working fine and we haven't had any problems. I like the easy clean up feature of the dispenser, no water collection. The freezer is large enough and works great, I like the 2 levels and it is easy to navigate and separate foods.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The refrigerator is fine but it has some shortcomings. The icemaker is marginal. I can only get enough ice to fill a couple of glasses at a time and have to wait for more ice to be produced. Also, ice forms continuallly on the freezer door and has to be removed to keep the drawer closed properly. The noise is louder than I would expect from a top level appliance.

Tons of storage, elegant design

This fridge is awesome, with the wide open door design you can fit anything you want into this fridge. The full width drawer fit an entire pork tenderloin with room to spare. Speaking of Spare - what about an entire rack of spare ribs - those fit too.

we are so happy with this model and would recommend to anyone needing a French door fridgr.it is very easy to open,getting fresh cold water and ice cubes.the freezing draws are superb and so are the temp.controls.

I love our new Whirlpool Gold Fridge. Looks great, runs great and LOVE my ice and water feature. Having the bottom mount freezer is a nice change as well. I have noticed a big difference in the extended life of the produce. Makes me happy when I walk in the kitchen!LOVE Whirlpool!
