Great fridge, ice maker could use work

I love this fridge. It is super sleek, and there is a ton of space. My only complaint is that with four people who drink a lot of ice water we run out of ice quickly and it gets jammed ocassionally. When it gets jammed all of the ice falls out all over the floor or inside the fridge when you open it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

beautiful unit & lots of room! I love the french doors & is very well lit. the differnt drawers are handy. freezer works well too. Looks great in my kitchen! energy efficient too!

I've used Whirlpool appliances for years--washer and dryer, stove, microwave, dishwasher--and now I've added my new Whirlpool refrigerator and love it every bit as much!

We have had the product for several months and are satisfied with the total performance.The water filter and ice maker are great features. The proof will be in the operating of the unit in the long run. We expect 10-20 years of use. We selected black color due to other appliances being that color and it looks great. Cleaning the exteior is a snap.ould recommend ths product to others.Daniel

Purchased this refrigerator when our current was unable to be repaired. We love the stainless steel design with the freezer on the bottom. Our salesperson recommended this model to us. We have had this for about 3 months and enjoy it. We have received several compliments on the design.

Good and Bad Points

I like the wide door shelves that make it easy to get things in and out.My salad greens stay fresh a lot longer than in the old fridge.I don't like the style of icemaker. Some of the ice gets crushed even though I have it on cubes. It tends to fly around and make a mess. There is no access to ice from the top of the icemaker which was nice for reaching in and getting ice when using a fragile glass.When closing the left door, the right pops open and sometimes doesn't close again. The alarm is nice but it's quiet and not always easy to hear. The freezer door didn't close all the way once and, by the time the alarm went off, there was frost on everything. I've now learned to double-check to be sure all doors have closed but it was a problem when I first bought this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have always wanted a refrigerator that had crushed ice!!! I looked andlooked for one that I really liked and found it in the one we purchased.I wanted the freezer below as I am short and I am in the freezer less so this works really good for me. My son was glad that it was close to the bar so I could hold to it and pull the drawer open as it is better for thelower back. There is a lot of storage in the refrigerator and I am very pleased with it over all. It was a bit pricy for our budget but I reallly wanted it and we just had to put a few other less important purchaseson the back burner when making the decision.I am glad that I bought the Whirlpool refrigerator with the freezer dooron the bottom and the water & ice dispenser,(cubes or crushed).
