This refrigerator has great features. I especially like the double shelves in the freezer. Everything is within reach and easy to see. The controls are easy to work. Also its quiet when running compared to our old one.

LOTS OF SPACE

This refrigerator has all the space you need plus some. I love the long undivided middle row. You can easily put pans of meat that are marinating, pans of cookie dough, etc on this rack with no stacking involved. There is also lots of door space. There is so much room in the bottom we never have our freezer full and we usually stockpile our meat and freeze it out portion controlled. The only complaint I have is about the icemaker. When set to cube, it seems to crush the ice after a few seconds so that you don't end up with all cubed, mostly crushed. And the icemaker is loud when dispensing ice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Frozen eggs!

This refrigerator came with our new home. I love the French doors and the pull out freezer drawer. I am not happy with the icemaker in the top left side of the refrigerator. First of all it takes a lot of space, secondly everything I put on the shelf next to the icemaker freezes. I put a dozen eggs on that shelf and half of them froze and cracked. At times the icemaker is kind of noisy. I would probably not buy this refrigerator again because of that feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful Refrigerator

We have been pleased with our new Whirlpool refrigerator. The freezer drawers are easy to open & very accessible. The ice makers makes plenty of ice and the crushed ice is a good size.

I have seen other models that appear to be more user friendly. This fridge is good as far as performance - the food stays cold (when the door is shut). The alarm sounds all the time because the left door does not shut completely without really pushing it shut. The sound of the open door alarm is very quiet, if I am not standing by it I can barely hear the alarm. I have been told by the repair man that this is due to design faults. Look around before you make your purchase, there are better refrigerators for the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
