Leaves much to be desired.

Didn't realize design flaws until after we used it for awhile. Must open both doors to access internal drawers. Shelves behind and under ice maker are pretty useless.Have only had this item for a year and are looking to replace it already. Not very functional, in my humble opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problematic Ice Maker

We've had our refrigerator for about 11 months. Since the beginning we've had problems with the ice machine. At first the ice was slow to come out but then it gradually got worse. Recently the ice will not come out at all. We have to manually open the ice machine and dig the ice out. Also if you are not careful to shut the doors, one by one, and push them in, the refrigerator will beep to let you know the doors are not shut. This is not a terrible feature, what I am complaining about is the fact that the doors are so sensitive. I've only ever dealt with refrigerators that with a light push the doors close by themselves, no extra shoving of the door into place. Also the beeping seems to start 15 minutes after the fact, which by that time I have left the house for work or errands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had this about one month and I can't tell you how much I love it. It is so nice to be able to place a large tray in it. It is just great.

Love Everything About This Fridge!

We needed a bigger fridge and wanted a bottom freezer, so this is the one we ended up buying. We were not going to get one with ice and water originally, but they were sold out of the ones without. We are actually glad now that we got this one, though, because it is so handy having the ice and water on the door! The bottom drawer for a freezer is so awesome that I'm surprised manufacturers did not come up with that idea a long time ago. Because the freezer is on the bottom, your refrigerated products are right in your view when you open the doors. We use the bottom skinny drawer in the fridge for our pop drawer and it works great to keep my husband's pop cold and ready for work. One really awesome feature of this fridge is an alarm that goes off if the door stays open too long. With five small children, this one feature has already saved us the frustration of having left the fridge open several times! If you have a family, this fridge is a great size for all your food. We still haven't filled it to capacity.

Lousy Ice Maker!!!

We bought this in February and hated it ever since. We have had two service calls on it already. Would not buy another Whirlpool Refrigerator or Microwave!!!!

Spatious!

We have had our fridge for about 2 months and I love the room in this fridge. The ice maker is a bit tricky sometimes, as it has a hard time not sending ice shards on the floor when it is switched from crushed to cubed. Otherwise, we love it!

The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars was because the ice maker wouldn't work when we got it. We had to call a repairman out to replace it. The work was covered by warranty, but still, it was a new fridge and shouldn't have broken parts from the beginning. Other than that, I really love it.
