Love ice & water in the door!

Door ice & water dispenser used all day long by the family. Ice maker in upper much better than those in bottom drawer. I was afraid upper ice maker would take away too much storage space from fridge, but it's more convenient there & we still have lots of space for everything in fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

All around good choice

We had a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer of a similar size for many years and weren't sure whether we would like the french doors and the bottom freezer. We decided we liked the overall features of the unit and purchased it. Well, our concern is gone. It's so much better than what we had before. It seems roomier and offers much better flexibility in where we place the shelves. The bottom freezer makes finding frozen items easier and it also seems to be bigger. We've had it for six months now and are very pleased with the purchase.

Looks nice, but the space is awkward

This is a noisy refrigerator. They moved the icemaker into the refrigerator space, therefore we lose shelf space. The ice dispenser didn't seal properly and the icemaker wasn't working correctly. Both needed to be replaced. Once that was done, everything was fine. On the plus side, it is very attractive.

i LOVE the look of the fridge...the freezer is excellent and fits a large amount, the fridge itself is a great design and we can fit a lot in it...However i LOATHE the ice dispenser...it doesnt matter what cup, glass, sippy cup etc i put under it, I end up with ice all over the floor when I try and get ice...it is seriously bad. So bad that my 3 and 1 yo children come running when they hear me use it as they KNOW that they need to pick up ice off the floor and throw it in the dogs water bowl...It is literally the worst ice dispenser i have ever .....EVER...... used!

I am so happy with the quality of workmanship with this refridgerator. It is very stylish, has plenty of room in both compartments. It also is so quiet you can't even here it. We are very happy of our decision to buy a Whirlpool product and look forward to buying more WHirlpool products.
