I like the water and ice dispenser on the outside.

Overall, this is a really nice refrigerator. We had a side-by-side prior to this one, and we like the convenience of the French doors. The only drawback to this refrigerator is that it is not as quiet as our previous refrigerator. The ice maker is very noisy when the water is filling.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had this machine for 4 years and have had five repairs. The first was a control board, then twice for the drain tube for condensate, then the ice maker, and while waiting for it to be repaired water blew out the top flooding the floor and cabinets. Consumer Reports now says Whirlpool is not recommended at all and I certainly will not buy another Whirlpool product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

7 YEARS OF BLISS NO REPAIR PERSONS NEEDED . IT SURVIVED 3 FAMILIES OF 20 YEAR OLD STUFFING IT .AND YOUNG ONES SWINGING ON IT DOORS , AND ICE CUBES SO MANY DRINKS TO CHILL ,

I have never had any other brand of appliance in my home for the 38 years we have been married. Whirlpool has always been our first choice for appliances, and they deserve high praise for the quality and efficiency they provide.

The overall design is good, with many nice features that helped in choosing this model. I really like the ability to open either door seperately. The areas that need improvment are the loudness of the icemaker, and removal of the bottom deli shelf.

It didn't come w/ a butter dish or an egg holder, but that's ok, I can buy those. The water filter is difficult to install, but once you get it, you're in good order. The freezer is roomy. It's not noisy. It's working out just fine for us.

I love this frig!! Love the space and ease of getting food out and finding it! It keeps my veggies better and longer than our "old" frig. Only a couple of things I don't like. 1)the ice tends to shot out all over some of the time 2)silly little cubby shelfs on left side in the door. Haven't found much that will fit in them. Hope it lasts forever though, cuz I love it!
