Just what we were looking for!

We had a double door refrigerator/freezer that we had never really been pleased with and when the opportunity came to purchase something new we jumped on it. Our Whirlpool has been a great purchase and one we wish we could have done sooner. Great features at a competitive price. Quality seems to be excellent!

Plenty of room in this counter depth refrigerator

I had another counter depth French door refrigerator before I got this one for my new home. I was glad this model made room for ice in the door. This feature still allows plenty of space for me inside the refrigerator. I am really impressed with the space available in the freezer. The 4 drawers are very innovative and roomy. They allow me to keep lots of things on hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After two months, we finally have ice!

Unfortunately, we had a lot of start-up troubles with this fridge. We chose this model because of its energy rating, less than 500 kwH per year! First, we did not hook up the ice maker because the installer said our existing connections were not up to code. Even without the water connected, water was pouring out of the right door onto our floor! There was a problem with excess condensation! It took two or three service visits by technicians to solve this problem. Meanwhile, our plumber fixed the water connection and hooked up the icemaker. After we replaced our whole-kitchen water filter, the icemaker seemed to work, only to have the fridge spring a leak on the top surface! There is a little tube enclosed in a cage that burst. We turned off the water. The tube was replaced, everything seemed to be working, but then a pool of water appeared on the flood directly below the ice/water dispenser!! Apparently, the dispenser door was "frozen" open, allowing water to drip out. The technician fixed the problem, and replaced the front panel that was not responding correctly to the touch commands. After two months, everything seems to be working properly. Our fingers are crossed that our start-up problems are behind us and we will have many years of reliable refrigeration, freezing, ice making, and dispensing, LEAK FREE!! We love the look, the lighting, the design of the freezer, the quiet operation, the energy savings, and hopefully, reliability of this refrigerator.

Several great things about the refrigerator - it's easy to use, it has a ton of great features, the style is fantastic, and it works like a charm. I highly recommend it! It is very roomy and was designed in a way that allows for great organization. The only con is at times one of the doors sticks open a bit- It's really not an issue at all, but you have to be aware of it (although it makes a beep sound to let you know!).Highly recommend!!

Whirlpool Refrigerator

I wasn't completely sure I'd like the freezer on the bottom but now that I've had it for awhile I love it. Most of the space in the upper section is well planned and useful. The freezer with its separate drawer is a great feature, I can find anything easily and quickly and I was amazed at the amount of room I have in there. The double doors took some getting used to after having a typical upper/lower door fridge for so long but I love that too. There seems to be more storage space than my previous fridge and the ice/water dispensers on the front are wonderful. Really great product. No 'cons' on this one.
