Everything you want in a refrigerator, it's organized nicely. Easy to change the water filter, easy to clean. Love the freezer and it's compartments to keep things organized and keeping my family healthy.

I will recommend this product to any consumer , as it gives excellent service. For my kids the lower freezer is accessible and reduces accidents.

Appearances can be deceiving

At first glance this model appears to have ample room however, the overly large ice-maker smack-dab in the upper left hand side of the refrigerator takes up significant space. And while a small narrow shelf is provided, it can hold a carton of eggs or items equally small in size. The in-door ice and water features are great, and the freezer compartment is quite large. So while quiet, and with ample freezer capacity, we are looking to move this unit to the garage as a backup and get a model without the icemaker in the refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave function dropped dead

Bought in 2010, but for a summer vacation home where it gets light use for only two months a year, so its actual age at death last Fall was about 14 months at most. We were going to call our excellent repairman but, according to the reviews, the problem is most likely the magnetron and a replacement will also fail in a short time, so we'll have to spring for purchase and installation of new micro-convection, which very definitely will NOT be a Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
