washing can be fun

I have had lots of washers in my life, but never one like this. We live on a farm, so we can get pretty dirty. The clothes come out cleaner than with my old top loading washer, and with less soap. Thank goodness that old top loader went out. The tune it plays at the end is so nice, but I haven't gotten used to it yet. This machine will tell you everything and even how long it is going to run. So glad that we bought an LG.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, laundry room is pretty

My old Bosch was good - but would only fit a small load. This new LG machine fits a whole weeks worth of laundry in ONE load. And easy to use - with lots of settings. Seriously - set it and forget it. Plays a little tune when laundry is done - and super quiet when it runs. Would highly recommend. Had one problem - with a bulky load, I think a blanket got caught on the rubber gasket that seals the door - and it broke off a chunk of the gasket. LG service guy came and replaced - covered under warranty - no service charge - and now back to perfect condition.

Only 1 week old but...Beautiful washer with many features I will probably never use. Very large capacity. All cycles are quiet. All my problems with my previous front loader were belt/pulley issues. This model is direct drive (no belt/pulley) with super high spin speed. I'm hoping direct drive is dependable. Washes even very large loads very well. So far I like what I see.

It has a large number of options so you can really customize according to your needs. It does a great job of cleaning and I really like the sanitizing option. The song it plays when it is finished is so much nicer than a buzzer !

I purchased this washer and matching dryer in June. On top of the really good deal I received, I also received a great product. The washer is so quiet and easy to use, and my daughter just loves the tune it plays at the end of the cycle. Overall I would recommend this to everybody!!!!

What a difference

Fought getting a front loader but finally gave in! When the first load was finished I knew I'd made the best decision ever! Clothes are so soft and clean. I thought top loads did as good a job but boy was I wrong. The white cycle turns things into glowing white. It's amazing. Love the value and features that LG offers. I'm a loyal follower now.

Full featured washing machine

This machine has such an extensive selection of cycles and options that I may never get a chance to try them all.
I have certainly found good choices for all the laundry issues I have encountered.
I was not really sure about how much I would use the steam options but they were VERY useful when my spouse got a fungal infection and we have to sterilize the sheets every night.
We live in San Francisco and have quite a problem with mold - our old front washer was always smelling moldy; the magnetic latch and drum cleaning cycles have completely eliminated any mold issues with this machine.
Invest the time to read the manual - couple of surprises in there - like "color safe bleach" needs to be added to the detergent cup NOT the bleach cup - the bleach cup is ONLY for traditional (Sodium hypochlorite) bleach.
