I have owned this washer for about 4 months and I LOVE it. It's quiet and the clothes come out so clean. I will look to buy an LG dryer when the need arises. Great!!!

This machine works well. All spin cycles wrinkle clothes excessively. But I think all front loaders are like that. The front loaders are kinder to clothes than a top loader. I don't think the steam is worth the extra money. Still this machine works and I'm starting to like it. If you get a good deal on it,
buy it.

this is are second lg front load the frist last us 12 yr stilled work but gave it to a friend in need the front loader wash the best also my son plays hockey and that smell is hard to get rid of not with this washer like i said look at the rest but u must buy the best Life's Good LG

I've had my new washer and matching dryer for almost 3 months now after my 23 year-old dryer died. I decided to go ahead and get both washer and dryer, as my washer was just as old and did not know how much life it had left. After much research, decided on the front-loading washer. Truthfully, after I saw the water level in the first load, I thought I would be returning it. I was used to my old washer filling up with many gallons of water and this one used very few. I thought, "How can it possibly get my clothes clean?" My expectations were low; but to my surprise, my clothes were not just clean but appeared cleaner than with my old washer. I was amazed! It does a fabulous job. It has truly won me over!

Love this washer - has more features than I would ever use but I am sure the wife can figure them out. I was worried about everything you hear about keeping the door open to prevent mold or mildew - NOT A PROBLEM on this machine. There is actually a little detent that keeps the door cracked open enough to allow the seal to dry so I have experienced no unpleasant odors etc. The machine is quiet with no discernible vibration. The wife likes to sort colors and does big loads - me I just throw a few things in at a time and the load sensing seems to handle every load equally well. Not that I pay a lot of attention but it seems to get a load done pretty quickly and the clothes are spun so they are not sopping wet going into the dryer. This significantly cuts dryer time and the cost of running the dryer. You cannot go wrong here.

We have had this washer since July 2011, and it's been wonderful to use. Not only did it whiten my dingy whites that I got used to from our old washer, but it's entertaining with it's melodic signal tones. That steam feature was amazing on those whites. Quiet? We don't have to close the laundry room door anymore - plus we wouldn't be able to hear it's neat tunes it plays. Finally, it uses so little water, I can't believe these clean clothes come out of it.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, those selection and signal tones!

I love this washer. It gets the clothes really clean. I especially like how the washer senses the size of the load and makes the appropriate adjustments.
