Just as good as gas

I bought this stove 3 months ago and I really love all the features on it. I especially love the bridge option which allows you to use a griddle. I am happy I bought this as cooking has been more enjoyable!

I have had this range for a little over a month and am so pleased with it. Induction is wonderful and I won't be going back to electric or gas ever - I'm a convert. There are great features with the induction cooktop and the convection oven. Electrolux does not disappoint - I highly recommend the range - you won't be disappointed.

I purchased our Induction Range 3 months ago. I LOVE It. My teapot heats up in 2 minutes. A large pan of pasta water boils in 10. The convection oven makes all my food taste better. I could not be happier. If you're looking for a new range I think this one is the only one to consider.

Exceeds Expectations

I have had this range for several months and I am very impressed. I was a little scared at first but it is very easy to clean the top, even with spills, make sure to follow instructions. It does exactly as it describes, the burners heat up and cool down immediately so if you have ever used a gas range the learning curve will be easy, if not make sure you do not walk away with the lids on the pots, if the heat is on high. There are plenty of burners to cook on and adjust to various size pots. The oven is very spacious and comes with numerous racks so if you like to bake this is the range you. You do need special cookware for stainless steel "Duxtop" is a good investment and for Non Stick "Ballarini". I am very happy with this investment and enjoy cooking.

Great Appliance!

In my opinion, induction cooking is the only way to cook simply because it is easier to control the temperature, easier to clean up any spills, less heat on the stove top even with multiple units being used, less chance of burning yourself, NO MESS STUCK TO THE STOVE TOP when there is a spill, plus NO MESS STUCK TO THE POT when there is a spill, cooktop cools faster. Since I had been using portable induction cooktops for about three years I was very excited to finally get my induction stove. i have not been disappointed. It is so easy to regulate the temperature, and the large cooktop heating element is great for cooking big pots of stew, gumbo, etc. And, of course, it is so easy to keep clean. I also especially like that there are no knobs for grease to accumulate behind. I can clean my entire stovetop when I have completed cooking and it always looks brand new. When I went shopping for my stove I compared a lot of induction stoves, and the Electrolux had the most favorable reviews. Since I have only been using mine for about one month, I still haven't mastered all of the features included on my stove, but so far, all of the positive reviews I read have proven true and I couldn't be happier. Will come back with another review a few months from now to let you know how my beautiful stove is performing.

I find the cooktop to be comparable to cooking with gas. The cooktop is smart enough to find my cookware almost anywhere on the element. I don't love the controls; I'd much rather have knobs than a button that adjusts the level up/down fairly slowly. The convection baking isn't terribly even; there's a big difference in doneness between the front and back if I don't rotate the pan.
I should also mention that the first unit that was delivered to my house was non-functional. The only thing that worked was the clock. The second unit that arrived has worked like a charm though.

A pleasant surprise!

I was skeptical about how much better this would be than a gas unit. I was wrong. The stove top is very responsive and amazingly fast at heating. The oven has a great "quick preheat" feature, and true convection, which works great. I was worried about the learning curve, as so many reviews warned it was tough to master. Not true. Love everything about this.
