Works great, very easy to clean!

We had been eyeing new ranges for a while, as our 13 year old coil top range was getting on in years and not working quite as well as it used to. The oven finally died last month, giving us the perfect opportunity to upgrade. Having read numerous articles and reviews of the radiant smooth top ranges and how they performed noticeably worse and were even harder to clean than coil top ranges, we decided to make the jump all the way to this Electrolux induction range. We are very happy that we did! This range really delivers on the promise of easy cleaning with a simple wipe of the rag. Even though the cooktop does get hot as a result of the hot pan sitting on it, once the pan is removed, it's never so hot you can't touch it, so food just doesn't stick to it. I've noticed the cooktop also can get hot with extended use of the oven - especially the cleaning cycle. The oven works very well, and the extra racks, especially the luxury glide rack, are welcome. I like the temperature display of the oven that tells you exactly where you are at while it's preheating. There are a lot of oven features that we'll probably never use, and it was a bit of a learning curve to operate it for just basic functions, but is straightforward once you do it a few times. Things seem to bake evenly with or without convection, and the convection fan is relatively quiet. I like how when you turn on the range top elements, you can immediately get low, high, or medium, with one more button press. I still would prefer dials to control the elements vs touchpad. But there's no denying the easy cleaning of the full touchpad, and the precision of having a specific number for heat settings. The three larger elements heat anything very quickly, if that's your need. The smallest element (right rear) heats things considerably more slowly for a given power setting. The free griddle is a nice touch, and took less than a month for us to receive, quicker than expected. Haven't used the griddle yet, but it seems high quality, and we love the ability to bridge the two left elements to make use of it. The fit and finish of the range seem very nice, and the stainless stays relatively clean. We have not had a stainless appliance before, so cannot say how it compares to other stainless appliances in that regard. It definitely stays looking nicer than our previous range, whose front was all gloss black. I personally would change the blue oven and element LCD displays to a different color - blue is the most difficult color on which to focus - but my wife likes it. We both found the timer chime very quiet compared to any other range we've used, but at least it keeps chiming after reaching 0:00.

Toddler friendly

Bought this before Thanksgiving so I've had a few big meals made with this already. My little one loves to help and I love that the top won't burn him so he sits on the counter while I cook now. It's easy to clean the oven cooks everything evenly and quickly. My only complaint with my entire stove is that the timer alarm could be louder I don't hear it sometimes when I'm in another room. I bought this and the convection microwave together and love them both.

Since this arrived, I have had the chance to use most of its features. The induction top is great at keeping constant temp. The convection oven is great for baking and roasting.

Would rate at a 10, but not all people will like the induction aspect., so 9.5
So pleased with this stove. There is a slight learning curve with induction cooking, but once you get it, it's great. I wipe it clean after every use and it always looks great.. The oven also works very nice. Nice to have a fast preheat..

This range is just as advertised. The oven heats quickly, cooks evenly, a breeze to use. The warming drawer is awesome. The cooktop is fast, efficient and east to clean. Couldn't ask for a better range.

Control board needed too soon

New stove less than 2 yrs old and one of the control boards is needed due to an error code of F68 beeping on oven panel display. Not sure what caused this but most unhappy with oven after such a short time of use. Did not purchase extended warranty. Would like talk about any others experiencing this issue. Oven/stove do not work now until I get this expensive board fixed if that's what it actually is the cause.

Love my new Induction Range!

I purchased this range in March and I have been very happy with all the features I have used; I've always been partial to Gas stove, but to get a gas line installed into my new home would have been cost prohibitive; After reading all the reviews and pros/cons on the induction stove I decided to take a chance and I am very please with my purchase; At this point, I don't think I would even go back to Gas if it was an option. The burner's are fairly instantaneous - you turn it on, it's on - you turn it off or down and the results are immediate.
