Great phone but it is slow

Windows phone is a very smooth operating system but it is very slow in terms of animations,installing and downloading applications, multitasking is also very slow especially in the case of third party apps. The inbuilt apps are of fine quality but the third party apps quality is far away from android. It is clearly evident even in games like templerun. The apps quantity is not a big matter as most of the people dont want and use hundreds of applications.
The lack of flash is a minor problem in the phone but it is not good to expect it from a budget friendly phone. The hardware of the phone is perfect but i faced the problems with OS as some the things i mentioned earlier. I felt the phone is reasonably fast until i get my hands on to moto e which is in the same range of lumia 520. After using moto e for a month i feel that even though the phone is not as smooth in animations as windows phone but it is very speedy in all other aspects. It is much faster in loading all third party apps and even installing is also very faster. I am very happy with the lumia 520 but i switched to moto e due to slow performance of windows phone. I am a big fan of microsoft. I fell in love with the surface pro 3 but sadly it is not available in my country. Hoping that some good changes will be made in windows 10 and again i will shift to a windows phone.
Just combine the good elements of windows rt like speed and flash support with windows phone and merge them into windows 10 for mobile

This phone is the best at its price. We all know how much windowsphone os is stable and smooth , so lets consider weak points.
1-it doesn't have pptp VPN which is used in most of places in my country
2-the quality of the popular apps made for windowsphone is very very poor despite of Microsoft apps.eg viber,uc browser..... Also the it's a lot of loading time for third party apps on this phone eg moli player ....
3-useless music player app .I hate using this phone for listening to music because it's not convenient at all

It's a good entry-level phone.

Everything works fine. However, it struggles sometimes due to it's low RAM. Battery life is average, but I can't expect much from a 1430mAh battery.
And one feature is needed - since I'm from Bulgaria and there's a lot of Lumia 520 users here - we want the official Bulgarian BDS cyrilic keyboard layout. Now L520 includes the phonetic layout only, which is not the official layout of the country and most of us are not used to it.

It's good because Windows Phone is stable operating system, there is no stopping when it work, the price is good in relation to the quality, applications run very well. A small criticism is customizing OS.

the specifications may not be the best, but the quality of the system, the performance in time with software and hardware is perfect, heavy games wheel with a simple hardware and much more.

Good morning, thank you my lumia 520 is great the price is right and it is a powerful smartphone, but please do not take well to this business the best games only work on wp with 1 gb at least I do not know if it is possible to Decrease the graphics to run on 512 ram but otherwise dasn the more important things is to try to solve this bug to closing apps que a lot of bad anger can browse in IE, thanks again, and bye.l
