Nokia 520 Windows Phone

I have generally been very happy with this phone. Easy to use, photo quality is great. But battery life is TERRIBLE. Full charge in the morning, almost dead by 2:00 pm. I am not running anything in the background. Wish it was better. Maybe it's just my battery. Overall, I like the phone very much.

Indeed, this is the only brand that carries Cortana and Office. Whether you're on the go or at school and you have a note you wish to take or a story you wish to type while sitting on the bus, you're able to with Cortana, office and one note. The down side is that this phone runs under 1gig of RAM when you need 1 gig and more to feel the awesome power in your hands. Games get choppy, IE crashes, camera takes 30sec. to start up (timed it). There's a lack of other browsers to actually use other than IE. Nevertheless, I still say that this was a great gift that was given to me. A definite upgrade from my old phone.

Pros - I love Cortana Search. HERE Maps works well. I love OneNote . OneNote syncs well with my Windows 8 desktop and with installed Google Chrome on my Windows Vista. The 4G is awesome.
Cons - 6 months later I started experiencing problems with my headphone jack. It won't play certain songs on my song list. My music is very important during my workout and yard work.
My games crash during play. Some apps do not work properly. I have even had problems with Windows 8 apps and games.
I use Consumer Cellular as my phone service so I cannot receive media on my text. So in writing this I would like to add that it won't store my pictures sometimes. I have been using smartphones for some time now (and have a 32GB mini-sd card) I would not welcome insult by being asked if the sd card is properly installed or have I checked this and have I checked that?
Bottom line - I started out using low-in Android smartphones and graduated with higher-in gadgets. I purchased this low-in Windows 8 phone because I loved Windows 8 on my desktop. But with these defects in which I have mentioned. I will be going back to Android.

Had two of these one was a replacement. The second didn't last either so I would not recommend this phone to anyone ,it's too fragile for everyday life. The touch screen digitizer cracked within two weeks of use on my second replacement. The original one I purchased cracked within three days. Now I am stuck without a phone again so I will be purchasing a different Brand product.

ive used samsung for mini years and was recommended a nokia 520, but it is a horror show of a phone. constantly crashes, overall dislike it.

It just seems that there's always something not working right. It crashes all the time, battery life is rrubbish and the handset heats up so much it burns when u touch it. Never again will i buy a Nokia!
