disappointing printer

Printer easy to set up and prints fine in black--but color printing is not distinct or sharp, whole pic is cloudy...cleaning not helpful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Somewhat disappointed

I am very happy with the quality of printing, and it prints very good photos, although photo printing is somewhat slow. The one feature that I am disappointed with is the loading tray for paper. The tray has to be totally removed to add paper, and I find that it is not the most efficient way to load paper. You should be able to simply pull the tray partially out, and slip paper in, not totally remove the tray.

Been using this printer for 5-6 months now, and it is a really nice machine. Took some getting used to after having used other brands for years, but liked the scanning options better. Only thing I do not like is the printing of the date and time on the bottom of anything I print from the internet, even asking for support does not remove this. Also guess with the updates they do, it changed the settings, so doing the things I was doing are not as easy now. Wish could undo the updates. This is only issue I have which is for the scanning feature.

When this printer works, it's great. But it's constantly in an error state and has to be re-installed, and runs through ink like crazy.

Never happier with any inkjet printer

I've had this printer for several years now. I've used regular and ink-jet paper; brother ink; and two brands of "compatible" ink. This printer handles it all. I've never used the fax feature. Printer just keeps printing ... never been happier.
