Good and basic

I like the black but I wish the metal and the way it's made was just a little bit more sturdier a little bit more heavier seems very cheaply made I hope it will last for the price even though it's the cheapest made I hope it'll last
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Two features are lacking.

Two items lacking in features are timer and clock. Other than those the product performs well.

We have used our new GE model JBS160DM4BB range for one month almost daily. The electric coil stove top works very well and the oven bakes like a dream. We replaced a 22 year old flat glass top electric range. I debated on all of my available options (another glass top, electric coil and induction) and I am so happy with my purchase.
The electric coils work well. I had read complaints about the sensi coils, but I use good stainless steel cookware and cast iron and have had zero problems. I have sons and they are not delicate creatures in the kitchen. I worried about their use of my previous glass top range because it developed a scratch in the cooktop not long ago. I prefer the smaller glass window I the oven door over a larger one for safety reasons.
I chose the black and it looks so good with the tropical brown granite countertops in my kitchen. I really love it! Thank you GE for making a solid product and meeting my kitchen appliance needs.
