I received the stove as a wedding present from my parents..Love it and they special ordered it so that the knobs would be in the front so that my husband who is in a wheelchair could use it!

Great features on this appliance

I have been using this range for nearly a month now and with the holidays it has been a very busy unit! Passed all tests with flying colours! I also do lots of home canning and the type of burner elements on this range are superb for that purpose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was purchased in August for my wheelchair bound Mother. We all like the controls on the front of the stove. Wish it had a clock on the backsplash like the smoothtop. Also wished it had a timer as well. Good looking stove at a reasonable price.

Not a happy camper

We purchased this product in December while doing an upgrade on our kitchen. Limited spacd, so we selected this product for convenience in placement of the range. From day 1 I did not like the range. Part of the fault lies with us, we were in a hurry, replacing all appliances etc. However, it is so cheaply made, (and this is a replacement of a GE range we had had for years) but the quality is terrible. The knobs on the front are easily turned on if you bump against the range --a fire hazard. The top is lightweight and does not feel sturdy,, the vent from the oven does not align with the proper vent on the countertop,the burners are already showing wear. I could go on but I truly regret that we purchased this item. Our bad for not seeing the actual stove in the store,it was ordered for us, and I would absolutely not recommend this at all. When I have to replace this in a couple of years , most likely it will not be with a GE product. This is sad thing for me to say since my father sold GE appliances for years at a hardware store and this was the only brand he would buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned 3 glass top ranges and I do not care for them. So, for me, I was looking for a basic electric range. This matches what I wanted from a range. Love how it cooks so much faster than my glass top range. The only problem that I am having with it is the oven. I cannot seem to get it regulated to the correct temp.
