This product cooks food well on the cook on the stove top. It bakes things good in the oven, but you should watch the food to make sure it doesn't burn b/c the oven will get hot quickly.

Love this range!

I bought a house and it had a smooth top stove. I gave it a chance, and for a variety of reasons I hated it. My preference is a gas range but my neighborhood doesn't have gas so I decided to go "old school" with an electric coil range. I also did not want the oven to have digital controls. I found this stove and it was installed 11/14/16. So far, I love love love this stove!
The only thing I would note is that while the controls for the burners require you to first push the dial in before you can turn it, the oven control does not seem to have that same feature. For this reason, I have found that I can accidentally turn on the oven just my lightly brushing against the dial. However, now that I am aware of it, this is something I am able to easily avoid. I do wish though that the oven dial had the same "push first" feature.

Much Too Expensive For What You Get

I wanted a stove with burners instead of a smooth top. Unfortunately, this one doesn't measure up to what it costs. The oven light doesn't even turn on when you open the door! I also wanted front controls, but these are knobs without any digital controls at all, and they're difficult to see!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
