Nice stove.

We got our new stove two days ago. How quickly it heats and what a nice oven! Was very happy to hear we could leave the racks in for the self-cleaning cycle. Price was good. Seems to be a solid stove.
The unhandy feature is turning off the oven to change the temperature.

This range replaced the GE range we had since 1976. I guess you could say it is a very good product. It fits all our needs and is perfect for the canning that we do.

Poor product

I bought this because of other people's reviews saying how good it was. The following is a description of why I will not give this product a high rating:
1. The range does not come up to the level of my countertops even with the feet extended to their maximum length.
2. The left back burner makes a very loud audible noise (coil induction) as it heats no matter what heat setting is selected, none of the other burners do.
3. The oven makes a clicking sound each time the heat cycle is changed (possibly the realy that controls the element).
4. The audible advisory alarm is barely audible, even with no ambient noise in the house.
I feel that I have paid a lot of money for a poorly designed and sub-standard product.

good stove

Nice electric range, has many good features. However the oven light does not come on when oven door is opened. We must use a separate switch. Who decided that blunder? Storage drawer is cheaply made. Don't like the black top.

Good looking stove

The oven works fine - maintains temperature. The controls are awful - takes many seconds to go from low to high temperature, click, click, click, click, start. Simply turning on the oven takes three clicks, then heaven forbid you need to change the temperature from the boxed-cake setting of 350F. What's wrong with old-style turn dials?
The stovetop does not compare favorably to my old GE Harvest Gold 40" double oven cooktop, this is ludicrous. Unacceptable. Please.....American appliance manufacturers.....research and make a functional stovetop that can be used for real cooking. The burners tip and wobble. I try to buy American, but European stoves are much more cook friendly. I know Americans just want good looking stoves that compliment their granite countertops, but some of us oldies still like to shake our pans. AND the paint is showing signs of wear. Please try harder engineers and don't let the stylists overrule you.
That said - I'm to old to bother digging up the neighborhood to install gas lines and will make do with the substandard burners and enjoy my glass tile!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Value for the money.

I do a lot of the cooking. The coils are tight and flat. Much nicer than competitors, an the rollout shelf was an added bonus.
