I bought this a couple months ago . Was looking for an electric range. Checked out many brands on line and in person this had the most sturdy coils and nice features.

GE Range does the job!

I bought this to replace a ceramic top stove that was impossible to keep clean. In addition, the ceramic top had cracked.

Good quality-features

I bought this stove a couple of months ago and it is very good quality. I like the sliding mechanism on one of the oven racks which makes it so easy to put things in and out of the oven. The burner coils have more rounds than other new stoves which helps with heat distribution. I understand this model is the last one they offered this feature which is a shame.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Coil electric

Purchased a coil type stove because of cooking style, i.e., heavy canner and cast iron skillets. Dealer suggested the roll out oven rack. Unfortunately, the roll out feature narrows the width of the rack significantly reducing rack capacity. Burners heat quickly and are very hot, unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to reduce the heat low enough for slow simmer. I purchased the black stove to match other appliances. The finish is difficult to keep from looking smeary. Within a short time the burner inserts developed black marks which can't be entirely removed. I prefer my older stove, also a GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t buy

We have only had this range about 5 years. Cheaper to buy a new one than to fix this one. The burners are poor quality and totally flattened when I tried to can. When I purchased, this stove, I told the salesperson I needed sturdy burners to hold my canner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
