I like the slide out racks.

It seems to have a couple burners that are extra hot. Have to leave it on medium low.

New GE stove

I have had this stove for a few months. I don't like the fact that you can't turn on the oven and program in the temperature you want. You have to hit + or - to adjust the temp. Also the light in oven does not automatically come on..These were two features that was on my old GE that I liked and now miss. The oven and elements work great and I am satisified with those...I think the makers of stove with top elements are going with cheaper models because the smooth top models are better sellers. Wish they would make a better quality stove with stove top elements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Received as an early Christmas give from my Mom and we absolutely love it! The best feature is it heats up fast. Also that the top rack is on bearings!

I am a baker. This has the best, most accurate oven I have ever owned. The roll out rack is really handy too.

Slide out oven rack!

This range cooks much faster than my old one, once I got used to it I enjoyed that feature. I do wish that the oven light came on when the door was opened. Wish that the storage drawer was a bit deeper too, had to remove some things to make it work. Those are really the only negative comments I have about it.

I love the simplicity of this range. My past units have been glass tops with many features I don't really need anymore. Also the previous tops were a problem due to glass breaking and discoloring. This unit is exactly what I need. It is functional, simple, and attractive. My other kitchen appliances are also GE. This is the same color and even though it is 7 years newer it blends perfectly with the other pieces.
I would recommend this to a friend!
