The burner trays are hard to clean. I did not have any spill overs and one of the trays turned black .

Good Stove -- but could be more user-friendly

I like my new stove and it cooks very evenly. Love that it is well built. Would give it an excellent rating if the oven setting began at 170 rather than 350 and if the oven temperature and timer had separate digital displays.

Had this a few months and the time to boil water a large pot of water and preheat the oven is very impressive!! Very happy with the efficiency!

Just What I Wanted

We've had this range for 2 months now and I really like it. The controls are easy to operate with knobs for the burners and a digital panel for the oven. I especially love the oven's constant temperature, unlike my old stove which didn't have digital controls so the temperature varied when baking, which was a problem with cookies.
We wanted to upgrade to stainless, but also have a coil-burner top for canning and stovetop popcorn (which requires the pan be moved a lot), so were happy to find some choices and picked this GE model due to its good reviews.
The only negative we have is the cheaply made bottom drawer. It's a little smaller and much flimsier than my old stove drawer, but I still am able to use it for pan storage. That's one reason I stayed with an electric range, rather than switching to gas, so I wouldn't lose that storage capacity. It's a bit awkward to open and close the drawer because there isn't any handle. You have to grab a recessed area in the middle and when the drawer is fully open, the front actually sits on the floor. However, I've gotten used to that and feel the controls, cooktop and oven make up for that deficiency.
I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for an attractive coil-burner stove. I considered giving this only 4 stars, because of the drawer, but decided that it deserved 5 stars because the cooktop and oven are great.

This range is great! I needed a new stove – like yesterday (I was replacing a GE.) The research I had done turned into months. I didn’t want to spend too much money, but I wanted quality. My last stove lasted 15 years, so I thought I would stick with what I know. This stove came with features I didn’t even read about. I have not yet use the self-cleaning feature, but I have used the automatic shut off. This oven is TIGHT – meaning when you program the shutoff you may want to have it shut off 30 to 45 minutes early than normal cooking time. The only thing I don’t like about this stove is the bottom drawer does not have a handle to pull it out. That’s a small thing, but I love this stove! I would highly recommend.
