Good value but has some minor faults

Frig worked as planned on startup. Owner's manual was spot on about startup conditions. The disappointing part is that it has no butter storage compartment. But most disappointing is that whenever the door is opened it sqeaks and creaks. Tried to give one of the leveling screws a turn and it worked for about a half day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had this refridgerator for a week now and had to find a place to express my love for it! Un like some of the comments about noises that it makes, It is quite, love the lighting, and the lots of room! just the look of it setting in the kitchen is awesome! Thanks GE we love it!!

This fridge works wonderfully! Love the appearance and the stainless is very easy to clean. Not a complaint, at 29.1 this is one of the largest side by sides' I could find - now I wish it had more room! The ice cube maker/water dispenser works wonderfully - and the temperature controls make it easy to set. Only real complaint would be that I wish GE would come up with a way to change the color of the grey sides without it being a major process!
I would recommend this to a friend!

decent refrig, some quality control issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] decent refrig with good size. cheaply made ice maker with plastic internal parts that break easily. Plastic drawer covers in freezer break easily. Refrig. has had service for cooling unit already. not worth the price, quality control lacking. disposable appliances seem to be the the norm these days, not your moms GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
