Great size. Poor shelf construction.

Recently purchased a home with this refrigerator. Same issue as everyone else with the freezer shelves falling.
I did go buy the metal closet shelf and cut it to size. So the top 2 shelves don't fall anymore, but the baskets do as soon as you touch them. Ice maker doesn't work but the previous owner said it had never worked. Is there a trick to get it working?

LEDs really light up the interior

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PROS: Good to excellent quality. Beautiful exterior. LED lighting inside really makes losing food difficult. Temperatures in both refrig and freezer are easy to set. Interior is easy to clean. Lots of shelve adjustments possible. Door holds a good quantity of items making things easy to find. Filter is easy to replace although not inexpensive. Our water tastes great after going through filter. Wish that water came out quicker. CONS: Wish freezer had more room (ice maker takes up a lot of room but I wouldn't want to do without).

Its plenty roomy, holds everything we need and with all the space its easy to see things and get them in and out. Love the ice maker, works great. Couldn't figure out the temp controls or could not make them work but after reading these reviews, I guess its preset -- we have never had an issue with any noise with this fridge, its super quiet. This fridge replaced a 15 year old GE Profile. We came back to GE because of the quality. A butter shelf would have been nice but we can live without it.

Perfect for an ideal kitchen

love the fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the unit but wish you would do something about that silver plastic tray at the bottom of the in door water dispenser. It gets stained with hard water and when you clean it it peels apart I've replaced mine several times already. It is frustrating that you spend so much money and something right out front in your face looks horrible. I have actually bought a spare and interchange the pieces when we have guests so as not to be embarrassed by the appearance.

Best value for large storage space vs. price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two concerns which warranty service calls have not been able to correct are 1) the ice cubes in the automatic ice maker fuse together and won't dispense properly until you manually break them apart, and 2) there has been an intermittent vibration noise that is not related to the compressor running (according to the service technician who thinks it is probably internal tubing that is ratting again another component of the unit). These are minor nuisances which do not affect the basic performance of the refrigerator.
