It is a very quite dishwasher. I like the delay cycle feature so I can run the dishwasher at night. I have noticed there is a loud click whenever I open the door and also I noticed that the front of the dishwasher has a water line on it that I have to wipe off after I use it. I am not sure if it is because of the steam or if water leaks out. I will call to have it looked at.

Kirchen Aid received good reviews from Consumer Reports, so we purchased a similar dishwasher. The dishwasher is very quiet, you never really notice it is on, except for the little lights in front. This is true even though it has an automatic food grinder.
The dishwasher is bigger in side than it looks from the outside. It fits and cleans all of our dishwashable items for the day.

Great Dishwasher, worth every penny. My only concern and this is because of the elctronics, I do not have a warranty and am worried that start or lock buttons can go out, this happened on my last dishwasher and I had to replace the touch sensitive strips twice.

I have really enjoyed the new dishwasher and feel it is a great product. It allows for so many more dishes and such to be put in for each load, which is great and it is extremely quiet. All this is compared to my Kitchen Aid of 20 years ago.
My only complaint is in the design of the controls. They are sooooo touchy that I am constantly setting them off and having to "cancel" whatever it is I have activated. Sometimes I actually feel that just standing in front of the panel will set something off. I understand that it is a "touch screen" panel and should be easy to operate but it seems it would be just as good if the buttons weren't quite so easily activated.
