I have had this dishwasher for 3 months and unfortunately I am disappointed with its performance. Regardless of how I load the dishwasher food does not get removed from the dishes. Essentially everything must be pre-washed in order for it to become clean. The 15 year old Maytag that was replaced by this model did a better job. I have come to learn that the motor on the Maytag was much more powerful and thanks to energy star ratings this newer model lacks power.

excellent dishwasher, great buy, the salesperson talked me into this for how quite it is and the cleaning features for big items. the top rack raises and lowers while a seperate cleaning feature forpans on the back of washer is great.
Pros: Design, easy to use, Very quite

This KitchenAid dishwasher runs very quietly and does a great job getting dishes clean. Easy to load, plenty of space for large bowls and pots and plenty of choice as far as cycles and even a timer.
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features, Design, Performance

Have problems loading. The door wants to shut pushing the lower tray back in. The dishes then roll out of place. The top tray is inefficient compared to our older model. Hope to figure best way to load so as not to run more often.
Pros: Convenient Features
Cons: hard to load/ design

This dishwasher is go quiet compared to my old one. Sometimes I have to double check to make sure it is running. I love that a light on the control panel stays on after the cycle is complete so everyone in the house knows that the dishes are clean and they don't add dirty dishes to the clean ones. The only thing I would change is the location of the utensil holder. It runs along the side of the tub. It would be convenient if it was located in the front.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Convenient Features
Cons: location of utensil holder along the side
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best dishwasher we have had in more than 45 years of home ownership. The 1-hour cycle is a gem when you must move dishes quickly. Its quiet operation is a highly valued feature to us. This is a superb product!!

For design a suggestion. The dishwasher is under a counter. When working at the counter if my hips brush the on button, it comes on. Maybe the buttons should be recessed or perhaps be a clear plastic cover requiring a firm finger push.
Pros: buttons too convenient., easy to use, Innovative, Performance, Convenient Features, Design
Cons: See above.
I would recommend this to a friend!
