Our first dishwasher was a kitchenaid and the quality & performance were excellent. When we moved, we had a lovely kitchen with a good dishwasher, however, after 5 years I replaced the appliances and put in another Kitchenaid. We are very pleased and satisfied. So far, it has performed with the same quality and quieter than our first one. I'm extremely satisfied with our new Kitchenaid.

YOU NEED TO RE-ENGINEER THE SILVERWARE HOLDERS. THEY ARE OF POOR QUALITY AND DO STAY PUT. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS FEATURE WHICH HELPED TO SELL ME THE DISHWASHER.
ANOTHER FEATURE IS THE FUNCTION BUTTONS ON THE FRONT. WHEN I AM WORKING AT THE COUNTER TOP THE ON BUTTON TURNS ON WITH JUST THE SLIGHTEST PRESSURE FROM MY LEANING OVER THE DISHWASHER... IT IS VERY TOUCHY. PLEASE IMPROVE THESE FEATURES SO THAT THE NEXT BUYER IS NOT AS DISAPPOINTED AS I AM. THANK YOU,

I did a lot of research before buying this make/model of KitchenAid, and so far, it has lived up to my expectations. It's an attractive, quality built (stainless steel interior), and quiet product (you hardly know it's running). I can choose to run a quick 1 hour wash, or allow it to go through the entire 3-hour cycle. I find the 'light' cycle, which runs for about two hours, does a great job for most loads. It also has great features, like a pot scrubbing power option, different colored indicator lights that tell you where your washer is in the cycle, and a pocket handle that doesn't jut out. There are a few areas that leave room for improvement: first, the utensils holders are a bit flimsy and pop out a little too easily and there are no fold-down racks for wine glasses. Overall, however, I am pleased with my purchase!

I love the way it cleans. I don't feel like I have to wash my dishes before the dishwasher washes them. I love the stainless steel interior. I feel like it is more sanitary than standard plastic interiors. I love the stainless steel finish on the door. It is so easy to clean. Just a damp towel.
