I had a KitchenAid dishwasher previously and was concerned when it had a mechanical failure and filled my kitchen with electrical smoke. I did a bunch of research and after all was said and done I COULD NOT find anything on the market (in any price range) that compared to the features, quality and space that my KitchenAid had. So....I replaced it with, you guessed it, a NEW KitchenAid. I have now been the proud owner of my new mother's helper for about a month and believe me when I tell you...IT WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE! Thanks KitchenAid for making a product that we Mom's of teenagers need and want. GOOD JOB!!!!

I had another dishwasher (GE) which could not compare to this Kitchenaid. I had a Kitchenaid before, and I was totally satisfied with it; therefore that is the reason I purchased this dishwasher. It cleans dishes. It is easy to use. It has not wasted any of the designers work on unnecessary frilly things that don't work. It cleans dishes the way it should, and the way I want, and I am totally satisfied.

I love my new dishwasher. Quiet - yes! Dishes sparkling clean - yes! Easy to load - yes! I opted not to get the model one step up which had a swallow tray at the top for knives. How I wish I had that now. My only regret.

It's very quiet (can't even tell it's running). We'll have people over and be able to run the dishwasher and still be able to have a normal conversation in the kitchen. It has a lot of room and we really like the adjustable top shelf. The dishes come out very clean and shiny! We would definitely buy this product again.
