I have never seen my glassware sparkle as much as they do now after using my kitchen aid dishwasher. The dishes come out of the dishwasher like ther were new. the dullness of my cutlery is a thing of the past. Thanks Kitchen Aid

The dish come out very clean, it is extremely quiet, east to load, and hold a lot of dishes. But the panel is to sensitive. When we are working in the kitchen our body will touch the dishwasher and it will start. We are always locking and unlocking the control panel .
Overall we are very pleased. When ever I buy a Kitchen Aid appliance I can tell there is quality over other brands. That darn control panel needs to be figured out.
All my stainless steel appliances the dishwasher has the easiest to clean without much polishing effort. I still like the old appliances that had the texture surface. They always looked so good.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Innovative, Convenient Features
Cons: control panel to sensative

Wow! What a joy to load this dishwasher. The upper rack is adjustable and the lower rack can hold all shapes and sizes of dishes, bowls, etc. And amazingly quiet compared to our old dishwasher. You hardly notice it is running. Since I rinse our dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, I just use the normal cycle and push start. About the only bothersome thing is the location of the controls on the front of the door. We occasionally bump into the controls when putting away clean dishes into the upper cabinets. But we usually notice it right away and turn off what we accidentally turned on. This could be an issue with young children, but we are aware of it now and it is no longer an issue with us. I actually like the location of the controls. Overall, we are extremely pleased with this product and would highly recommend it. It is by far the quietest dishwasher we have ever owned.
Pros: Innovative, Convenient Features, Design, Quiet, Performance, easy to use
Cons: Location of controls

This is my second kitchen aid dishwasher and I bought one again because I liked the quality of my first one and it lasted at least 10 years. So far I am very pleased with my new one except I am not a fan of the plastic silverware holders. While I think it is a great idea, they are very hard to replace when they come loose. I also am not a fan of the lock screen panel. If you forget to engage it just lightly leaning into front of the dishwasher and it starts. I am however pleased with how clean my dishes are.
Pros: Performance
Cons: lock screen, Silverware holder

The machine works very well and cleans the dishes just as we expected a KitchenAid would do. In that we are not disappointed and the appliance deserves five stars. The silverware basked has removable guides for the spoons, forks, knives, etc. However, and this is a big problem, the guides are useless as they fall into and will not remain in place when set in the basket and will not hold the silverware as designed. We have removed them in frustration. If that feature were improved then the appliance would get a five star rating. It seem odd that the overall quality of the dishwasher, which is very good, has such a silly, useless silverware feature.
Pros: Convenient Features, easy to use, Performance, very quiet operation., uses less soap and water.
Cons: silverware baket is frustrating to use.

Was happy with my previous two Kitchenaid dishwashers. Out of the box this one just doesn't clean well without phosphate containing detergent and every cleaning option turned on. And it won't ever clean tall glasses in the corners of the upper rack which was never a problem with the previous dishwashers. After a year one of the lights for one of the options no longer works. Disappointed. I knew there were some bad reviews before I bought it but didn't want to have to learn a different way to load a dishwasher, I hoped the bad reviews were wrong. Now I really wonder how there are so many positive reviews for this dishwasher.
Cons: Doesn't clean
