I am very pleased with the cleaning of the dishes and the number of dishes the dishwasher holds. I like the various cleaning choices it offers. The dishes come out very dry when the washing is completed. In comparison with the Bosch I replaced, I would recommend this dishwasher.

After struggling for well over 10 years with another brand that did not clean well and we very noisy, I really did my homework and chose the Kitchen Aid brand. It has not disappointed me at all. It is very quiet and we can watch tv in our adjoining family room/kitchen and almost not hear it. Mostly though, it cleans beautifully. My newer dishes and glassware were being ruined in my older dishwasher but after almost two months of the Kitchen Aid, there is a huge improvement and they feel clean, smooth and sparkle like new again. I couldn't be happier and am going to consider other Kitchen Aid products when I need to replace my other appliances in the not too distant future. Love it!

Cons: control panel sensitive to accidental touch.

The dishwasher is incredibly quiet and easy to use. The touch controls are very sensitive which, if brushed up against, can start a wash cycle (or at least activate use buttons). It's an easy fix to cancel the inadvertent cycle, but an inconvenience. Overall, we are very pleased with the product.

This dishwasher has met all my expectations. It is very quiet, has great features, and does a great job of cleaning dishes, pots and pans, and silverware. The upper rack is adjustable for those tall glasses which is very handy.

Husband relocated for work and bought an 8 year old house the dishwasher was horrible. We bought a kitchen aid because we had the same one in our last home and it worked great. The only con is that plastic ware does not dry well enough and the buttons in the front of the dishwasher are easily pushed if say you were reaching to an upper cabinet to get something and slightly touched a button it would turn on. I recommend getting the model with buttons that are not on the face of the door. Other than that the dishes always come out clean. I wouldn't buy any other brand of dishwasher and highly recommend kitchen aid.

We had a KitchenAid dishwasher that lasted more than 26 years, so naturally we went for a new model, as the old one was petering out. This new dishwasher does a so much better job, it's almost unbelievable for us. Etched glasses came out clear with one wash. Drying with no spots or streaks, and, although this is difficult to do, you can even put the dishes in filthy without rinsing, and they come out clean. Plus, it's super quiet! I can honestly say we love this dishwasher.
