Love my Smart Stick!

When Santa failed to deliver the number one item on my wish list, I bought the Cuisinart - Smart Stick for myself! My favorite soups are rich thick soups like butternut squash and zuchinni leak potato soup, both of which have to be blended as the last step. I had previously used my Cuisinart blender to complete this task, but it only worked if I blended a few cups at a time and wound up spilled all over the kitchen. The Smart Stick works beautifully! I can blend the entire pot full of soup in one step, right in the pan, and clean up is a breeze! Not to mention how easy this makes whipping up a smoothie for breakfast. I chose the Cuisinart brand because I have used my Cuisinart food processor for 25 years and I know first hand how dependable your products prove to be over time! I must say, the best late Christmas gift I ever received!!!

I bought this to replace my other one. I thought it was the same but you have to push down on the unlock button to get it to work and when you stop the button pops up and you have to push it down again to start it. It is not user friendly. I wish I had my old one back.

Bought about one month ago. Had older model for some time. Being a senior with a bit of arthritis in my hands, I"m finding it a kind of difficult to handle the "lock/unlock and use" feature of the blender. I sometimes have to use both hands and that is really inconvenient. Will try again, but if I can't get the hang of it, I will return.

This was given to me as a gift because I wanted to make a small amount of coconut whip cream without using a big mixer. It does a great job! As a senior, I do wish I only had to push 1 button instead of holding 2 down for it to work.

The safety button is an inconvenience. If I had known that this feature was added before I bought the product I would have never purchased it. The safety button does not stay down so it becomes a 2 hand job.
