The chopper/blender cup does not wirk...I think it's broke...used once to chop onions never worked again so id have to say that part is made cheaply
The Immersion part is terrific! Makes cream soups, chowders and even fudges a breeze... I love coming other ways to use it. Even the 10 year old find out way to use!

I bought because it is stainless. Better for hot liquids. Love that part of it.

Versatile machine. We make guacamole and hummus from scratch with the chopper and big batches of homemade marinara sauce in the pot with the stick. Very sharp blades! Safety button helps a lot! Pro quality...love it!

It really blends better than anything we used before. Our only negative is the controls. You have to hold the safety button down then push the start button. There awkward and hard to press.

I love the immersion blender, chopper combo. I make, salad, dressing, with first chopping, herbs, onions, spices, and then add to mixing chamberbwith vinegar, oil, etc,for an emulsified vinaigrette. I make all my salad dressings. Also handy for soups. It is great, for quick chopping when you don't want to pull out the food processor. Love it and do not know how I lived without it! Friends who have seen it in action, report they had to buy one too. Great value, great function for small jobs. Buy one, you won't regret it!

I bought this about a month and a half ago, and haven't used all the attachments yet. I really just wanted the Speed Stick for soups. I had looked a long time for one, and this seemed to be the most like the one I had had and loved previously. I find it a little hard to begin to use, because two buttons must be pressed simultaneously to get it to start. I see why this is, for safety reasons, but I find it difficult. Perhaps I'll get used to it after a while. I hope so.
I would recommend this to a friend!
