The on/button on top is a pain to use! Why not have the on/off control in the speed button. Also this hand blender is not for the weak, it’s heavy.

I find the lock safety feature is difficult to press and then keeping it on the "on" position by keeping your finger pressed on the button. Having to keep your finger on the hi/lo the whole time is straining on the hands/wrist.

The Smart Stick was given to me for my birthday several months ago. It is versatile -- especially good for chopping or mixing small amounts -- like guacamole for two. The immersion blender is great for soups and sauces and easy to control. It takes a bit of time to become familiar with all the ways to use the Smart Stick, mostly because there are so many ways.

I love it except for the safety button, I have arthritis in my hands from driving a school bus for so long and pushing the button on the top then the one on the front is a little hard for me. Other then that, I love it
