Good Grill but not as good as they used to be

I just purchased a CB940X grill as I had 2 others before. This new one comes with cheap pine wooden side cutting blocks and handles that are warped right out of the box. I would bet the handle to open the top will break after a few uses. The side cutting blocks rock around and spill any thing that is one them. The old one's came with oak.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned a slightly smaller CharBroil grill for about 30 years. I have, and still do, love it. This grill is much more substantial in construction than my older one. It really does take two people to put together. I look forward to decades of happy grilling on it.
My one disappointment is the casters. They are the weak link on a great product. A more substantial set of casters is needed.

This is the replacement for a CB940 we used for over 30 years. This grill has design changes that make it a better product. We are looking forward to using the new grill for a long time!

I bought this for a rental property on the coast - average life has been 3 years on previous purchase for 100 less than what i paid for this but was very impressed with this grill. Construction and materials were substantially better than previous purchases and certainly worth the extra 100 - will know more in 3 years.
