Long lasting

I have had my Char-Broil 220 for over 50 years. I have replaced the wheels once but nothing else has needed replacing. The cast iron is still as good today as it was in 1969 when I bought it.

Fantastic Grill!

I purchased a CB940 back in 1981 and after 37 years it is still going strong. Replaced the wheels last year, but a $500 gift card could go a long way to refurbish this grill with new grates, and ash pan and other accessories.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first and still going

I bought this grill when I first was married and we celebrated 42 years together in June. It worked great then and still works great now. I switch between this grill for true charcoal cooking flavor and a 3 burner Char-Broil gas grill if I need instant flame. So many family meals have been prepared on the large cooking surface I couldn't begin to remember. Still cooking with the original cast iron grates. Great product.

I bought the 9:40 3 years ago and loved it. It's the best Charcoal Grill on the market is heavy duty and will stand years of service and I went as finally dies I will replace it with the same quality quality Grill from Char-Broil

This is my second 940 size grill. It is a heavy weight grill and built mostly good. I did have a problem with the small caster wheels (didn't last for long) replaced them with wooden legs and had to re-enforce the cover hinge. Other than that I'm satisfied.

No better combination of size and function. You can cook for a small family or the church picnic, it can handle it all with ease.

Purchased about a month ago and have grilled several times - different meats, fish, and vegetables. All have been excellent! Cooking on this grill is easy! Very convenient, and I’m learning many unique cooking techniques!

Extremely happy with this purchase. I've used it for grilling and smoking. It is extremely efficient. It uses less charcoal and retains heat. It is well made. Minor redesign would make this a six star product.
