This is a very good printer for the money, it has some extra bells and whistles, For the price I believe this would be a good choice. I had no problem with the install and set-up, I believe the people that did and wrote bad reviews don't no diddlie squat about following directions, or have a very outdated computer with no wireless capabilities. Do some research and download the user guides and manuals from Epson and read them before you start. I will agree the info that comes with the printer is vague but it is available at there web site as it is with any product you may buy. It took less than a half an hour to install it do all the currant updates (driver, firmware and software) with high speed internet. I could see where it would be a problem with dial up. Printed a test page and then some photos and they looked great and wirelessly no USB. Then set it up on my lap top and again so easy and also no problem. in fact it was fun. So if you want a very good printer if not great printer for the money this is the one.

This is my third Epson I have purchased due to the excellent job the other two did for me. Installation was easy and I had no problems. I have put a small strip of red tape on the Output Paper Slide so i don't forget to pull it out prior to printing. So far the print quality has been excellent and doing the job I need form a printer.

Biggest drawback is the window being on the front of the printer which makes it hard to look at and figure out what you want to enlarge or such. Prints good photos--uses ink like crazy. Don't know why you have to use two different black inks. The Printer price was great and it was on sale.

This is the 3rd Epson printer I have had in my office in the last 15 years.. First 2 were stylus printers. I use them mostly for cd/dvd printing. Both the stylus and the XP-610 always had problems loading the disc. I would always have to force feed the tray so it wouldn't error. And every 10 discs or so, it would produce black streaks on the disc.

Just got the printer yesterday. It was easy to set up and I was able to connect wirelessly to print from iPhone, iPad and computers. Instructions are very basic so it took a little time to find the output tray. Overall a good value for the money.

Pros: Prints color pages fast. Wireless printing from laptop, desktop, cell, and kindle. Duplex printing. Easy setup.
Cons: A bit noisy for it's size. You can only scan one page at a time. No document feeder. Only holds a small amount of paper. This particular model does not have a fax option in case you are thinking of purchasing.

I'm getting a message saying paper tray empty when its full of paper. Ink in the big black cartridge goes out way too fast.

This may be a great printer but the" getting started" brochure with diagrams was very inadequate, unclear. It took a lot of time to find the input paper tray(s) and how to open them. It took a long time to find the output tray as well. I looked to find a handbook guide for clearer diagrams but couldn't find one until I went on line seeking help. I hope to write a great review after using it for a while.
