The print outs are beautiful! Can't tell the difference between the original and the copy. But need to find out how to scan to a document. But, hopefully, I will.

Needs shortcuts for printing discs

I have used other brands of printers. This is my 7th Epson, which says something. I use this printer to print primarily on discs. A good quality paper printer-scanner is a plus. This printer is used in a home video business. I am heavily involved in graphics and live performance video. I burn thousands of discs per year, and my last Epson was still working. After 7 years, ink availability at a reasonable price became an issue.
The colors are vivid, and so far the ink cartridges seem to have good longevity. I love the touch panel and WiFi connection. My only issue has been setup for disc printing. I almost never print just one. For this printer, after printing a disc, the printer reverts back to regular paper mode. Several buttons must be pressed on the touch panel to reset the printer back into the disc printing mode. Perhaps there is a shortcut, and I just haven't found it yet.

XP-610 Setup Experience

Fast installation instructions were easy to follow.
Software installation was quick and required very little interaction to achieve wireless printing capability. The printer functioned properly right out of the box. Print quality looks great.

XP-610 Poor quality

This is an extremely poor quality printer. We've had trouble with it from day one. It doesn't like to pick up paper from either tray and must be rebooted regularly. Warranty service is also poor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
