I rated this printer 4* simply because I just plugged it in and started using it yesterday. It probably is worth 5 stars but I don't know that yet and it is my understanding they no longer make this model. I am a big fan of the Artisan series in fact I just plain wore mine out printing photos. I printed approx. 125 photos yesterday and I was very satisfied with the quality of them. Compared to the Artisan I did think the quality of the paper cassettes were rather cheaply made and I did not find them as easy to access as the Artisan. We will see how it holds up over the long run - I do primarily photos and do them a lot. I still prefer Epson for photo quality but it appears they are aiming their printers for other things and we will just have to see how it goes. One other thing I thought the print process was a bit slower than before. If you are printing a lot extra wait time is a pain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would love to review this printer IF I COULD GET IT SET UP TO WORK WITH GOOGLE CLOUD PRINT!
I had to buy the printer because it was the only one that indicated if could be used with google cloud print since that is what the chromebook requires. However I cannot get it to connect to my laptop.
The instructions said connect in minutes however 7 hours later I am still going in circles.
I now wish I had purchased a different laptop so that any kind of printer would work with it.
Consider this carefully before making any purchases.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am extremely unhappy with the mentioned printer. I constantly have to clean the heads and wastes paper. The colors are dull.
Our daughter has a new epson and she is as unhappy as we are; I didn't know she was buying or I would have told her not to buy epson.

Epson SP-610 printer

It's great, easy set-up, small footprint. Have not figured out yet how to print a single check, as opposed to an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet. Photo quality is really good. It is fast, and although it doesn't hold very much paper at a time, it is for home use, so that's a non-factor, really. I especially love the wireless printing capability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far this has been a fine experience. Fast printing, excellent quality. No connecting issues with set up or wireless signal. Have printed on DVD's, case covers, etc. Have not printed pictures yet. The manual, as is the case these days, is some what vague. (did not know where the output tray was) The online user guide was a help with printing DVD's.
I would recommend this to a friend!
