Setup with epson connect is very confusing and I'm still not sure if I succeeded. I can print email from my iPad mini, and 4x6 photos print fine, but when I try to print bigger photos like 8x10 or 5x7' it starts printing and stops after an inch or so and spits out the paper. I've tried using different paper sizes, nothing works. I'm very frustrated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had previously purchased an EPSON XP-600 for my wife. Was very pleased with its performance, quality and price. Just purchased the XP-610 for myself because of the XP-600 experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Printer, scanner and copier all work very well. Setup was simple if you follow the directions. I am also happy with the small profile of the unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set-Up Craziness

I just spent 3 hours and 27 minutes to get my printer working from my Mac. I'm sure other people are quicker than I am but this was ridiculous. The automatic set-up sent me into a loop that didn't work and the instructions, the FAQ and everything I could find on the Epson site never mentioned the solution. I eventually figured it out for myself but it was an incredibly frustrating process for something that could have taken 10 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this printer to replace my Epson Artisan 50 that crashed on me a little more than one month beyond warranty expiration. Easy to set up and use. Quality was very good and was able to finish my outstanding task of printing 5 labels directly to CDs quickly. Would not hesitate to recommend this machine. Not quirky or difficult to work with like the Artisan 50. What a relief! Hope it lasts longer that the Artisan.

Wow, so cheap!

This machine is shockingly cheap and flimsy. The data entry keyboard is super fragile and difficult to use. The the OS makes corrections when entering data on the printer directly nearly impossible. The printer is loaded with issues when communicating with IOS devices and looses communication quickly.
Many compatibility issues with other print drivers such as PrintForte. The print quality is very good.
This is my first Epson product after years with other brands. I am not pleased.
